Storm Mountain Picnic Area

Storm Mountain Picnic Area is located at the bottom of the Big Cottonwood Canyon/ Salt Lake Ranger District. Storm Mountain has great proximity to Salt Lake City, airport, extended accommodation, and exquisite restaurants and catering. There are 3 groups sites available for day use reservations and a stone Amphitheater available for 4-hour booking blocks. All group sites offer vast amenities: picnic tables, campfire rings, flush toilets, and non-pottable water.

Jordan Pines Group Campground

Jordan Pines Group Campground is located approximately 6.5 miles north of Strom Mountain Picnic Area and 1.2 miles south of Spruces Campground located in Big Cottonwood Canyon/ Salt Lake Ranger District. Jordan Pince has great proximity to Salt Lake City, airport, extended accommodation, and exquisite restaurants and catering. There are 5 group sites available for reservations, 4 sites are available for overnight stays, and one for day use only. All group sites offer vast amenities: picnic tables, campfire rings, flush toilets, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, water, and trash.

Spruces Campground

This beautiful campground is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon/ Salt Lake District with great proximity to Salt Lake City, airport, extended accommodation, and exquisite restaurants and catering. There are 9 group sites available for reservations. Most popular is site #9 “The Log Cabin”. There are three group sites that are available for overnight stays #1,#5,#6 the rest of the are day use only. All group sites offer vast amenities: picnic tables, campfire rings, flush toilets, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, water, and trash.

Theater in the Pines Group Campground

Theater in the Pines is one of our most popular to book for weddings and for good reason. This large group campsite is located along the beautiful Alpine Loop Scenic Byway in the Wasatch Mountains and can be reached from Provo or American Fork Canyon. There are campfire rings, picnic tables, and drinking water available for your guests. Its large grassy field offers grand views of the surrounding peaks and a large gravel parking area is on-site.

Mueller park picnic area

Mueller Park is located just 5 miles from Bountiful, Utah, and offers beautiful shaded group sites with picnic tables and campfire rings. It has flush toilets and water is available. Its paved roads and close proximity to the town make it easily accessible to your guests and any vendors you may have. A perfect place for your perfect day.

Altamont group campground

Altamont Group Campground is located along the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway high in the Wasatch Mountains. This site is 11 miles from Highland, Utah, and within close distance of extended accommodation and many restaurants. Altamont is among dense, shady stands of aspen, fir, and spruce trees, a beautiful backdrop to your event.

Shenoah Picnic Area

Shenoah Picnic Area is located in the Black Smith Fork Canyon approximately 15 miles south of Logan City and 8,7 miles from Hyrum. This group site offers various amenities: a campfire pit, picnic tables, vault toilets, and drinking water.

Lodgepole Campground is located in Daniels Canyon just a short drive from Heber, Utah, and Strawberry Reservoir. The campground offers portable toilets, as well as group picnic shelters. The campground is situated in a beautiful mountain setting along Daniels Creek. A forest of pine, fir, and aspen covers the area, willows line the creek bank, and summer wildflowers dot the landscape.

Tanners Flat Campground is located in scenic Little Cottonwood Canyon, just 6 miles from Sandy, Utah. The campground is set among a forest of shady pine, aspen, oak, and maple trees and Little Cottonwood Creek runs along the edge of the campground. The group overnight sites have picnic tables, campfire rings, grills, and serving tables. The amphitheater has benches and a presentation area but does not have tables or a fire ring. Flush and vault toilets are provided, as is drinking water and a volleyball court is available but campers must bring their own net and ball. Tanners Flat is a great place to be with family this summer.

Strawberry Bay Campground is located on the shore of the beautiful Strawberry Reservoir. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Most sites are equipped with either wind shelters and/or covered picnic shelters, tables, grills, and campfire rings. Campers at Strawberry enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, and hanging out on the beach. Your group will love it there.

Pine valley north group campground

Pine Valley North Wasatch Cache Group Campground is located on the beautiful Mirror Lake Scenic Byway in the Uinta Mountains of northeastern Utah. The campground contains three available group sites with picnic and serving tables, grills, campfire circles and large paved parking areas. There are vault toilets, and trash collection is provided.

Washington lake campground


Washington Lake Campground is located just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway on the shores of Washington Lake at an elevation of 10,000 feet. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their scenic beauty. These group sites are equipped with picnic and serving tables, campfire circles, grills, concrete site pads, and limited tent pads. A perfect place to gather with family and friends.

Middle Inlet Group Day Use Area is located on the eastern shore of Pineview Reservoir, just 2 miles from Huntsville, Utah. This day-use site offers a large picnic shelter, 12 picnic tables, grills, a dutch oven cooking surface, serving tables, a concrete site pad and large gravel parking area.

Vault toilets are provided and a host is on-site. There is no water so please bring all the water you'll need for your stay.

Wolf Creek Campground is located on the summit of scenic Wolf Creek Highway at an elevation of 9,400 feet. The campground is situated among dense stands of pines, which offer plentiful shade. Aspens dot the landscape and colorful summer wildflowers fill the mountain meadows on the summit. An amphitheater sits above Site 1 and has a cement stage, wood benches and a campfire circle.

ponderosa group campground

Ponderosa Group Campground is located just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, which is famous for its fantastic views. The site includes vault toilets, fire pits, and picnic tables. Campers will find plenty of room for tents and smaller RVs or trailers and your guest are sure to enjoy the gorgeous area with vast opportunities for recreation.

Granite Flat campground is situated among dense trees at an elevation of 6,400 feet. Rugged Wasatch peaks surround the area, with abundant wildlife and summer wildflowers to enjoy. With a baseball field, horseshoe pit, picnic tables, campfire rings, seasonal drinking water, and more available to you, Granite Flat is a perfect space for your event.

have any questions?

Q: Can I have amplified music?

A: No, any noise/music you make should not bother the other campers. You must observe quiet hours from 10:00 pm-6:00 am.

Q: Can I have food trucks?

A: Yes, they must remain within your reserved area and remember that it is pack in/pack out, any trash they/your guests make must be taken out with you.

Q: Can I have parking signs?

A: Yes, as long as they don’t damage any trees or existing signs and you take them down after your event. Do not leave this for the camp hosts to do, it is your responsibility!

Q: Can I hang lights?

A: Yes, as long as they don’t damage any trees or forest service structures, you cannot tie or nail anything to them. You should bring your own structure to hang them from (PVC pipe, etc.)

Q: What time do I check-in/out?

A: For overnight sites, check-in is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 12:00 pm the following day. For day use sites, you will make a reservation for a time block.

Q: Can I have more vehicles than what is allotted for my reservation?

A: Yes, but you must pay a $10.00 extra vehicle fee per vehicle.
