Located in central Utah. Home of the majestic Mt. Timpanogos Peak, beckoning hikers from all over the state to summit this peak. Pleasant Grove Ranger District offers a diversity of year-round recreation – fishing, family camping, arduous cycling, snowmobiling, ATVing, and rock-climbing. Altamont group campground
Altamont Campground is located along the beautiful Alpine Loop Scenic Byway high in the Wasatch Mountains. The Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Area is adjacent. Visitors enjoy hiking the nearby Timpooneke Trail to the summit of Mount Timpanogos. Altamont offers a large picnic shelter, flush toilets, and drinking water. Several picnic tables and a campfire circle are located in the shelter. The short road from the Alpine Loop to the campsite is paved, as is a large parking area. The site can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Granite Flat campground
Granite Flat Campground is located a short distance up scenic American Fork Canyon, less than a mile from Tibble Fork Reservoir. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing, and exploring local trails. This large campground offers three group sites and several single and double-family sites, most of which are accessible. Picnic tables and campfire rings are provided, as are vault toilets and drinking water. Horseshoe pits and a grassy baseball field are located on-site. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Firewood is available for purchase from the host.
Trash service is now available and included with the site.

Hope campground
Hope Campground is located near Provo Canyon along Squaw Peak Road at an elevation of 6,500 feet. This primitive site is popular for its close proximity to Orem and Provo, Utah. Countless recreational activities are available in the surrounding area. The campground offers several family campsites with picnic tables, grills, and campfire rings. Vault toilets are provided. Please be aware there is no water on-site; bring all the water you will need for your stay. Firewood is available for purchase from the host.
This campground is Pack it in-Pack it out. Please take your trash with you when you leave. Water is not available, please plan accordingly and bring your own water for drinking and dousing the fire.

Little Mill campground
Little Mill Campground is located in American Fork Canyon on the banks of American Fork Creek. This popular campground is a great place to escape the hot summer days while hiking or fishing. The campground contains one group site and several family sites, many of which are accessible. Vault toilets are provided. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Trash service is now available and included with the site.

Mt. Timpanogos campground
Mt. Timpanogos Campground is located along the beautiful Alpine Loop Scenic Byway in the Wasatch Mountains. The Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Area is adjacent. Visitors enjoy hiking the Aspen Grove Trail to the summit of Mount Timpanogos. The campground contains several family campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Firewood is available for purchase from the host.
There is no water available at this campground. Please bring all the water you’ll need for your visit, including drinking water and water for dousing fires.

Theater in the Pines Group campground
Theater in the Pines is a large group campsite located along the beautiful Alpine Loop Scenic Byway in the Wasatch Mountains. The Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Area is adjacent. Visitors enjoy hiking the Aspen Grove Trail to the summit of Mount Timpanogos. The campground can accommodate up to 150 people. Its large grassy field offers grand views of the surrounding peaks. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. A large gravel parking area is on-site. Firewood is available for purchase from the host at Mt. Timpanogos Campground.

Rock Canyon group campground
Rock Canyon Campground is located on scenic Squaw Peak Road, far above Utah Valley at an elevation of 6,500 feet. Visitors enjoy exploring local trails. This primitive campground contains four group sites, each named after a notable figure in U.S. Forest Service history. Sites contain picnic tables and campfire circles; some have serving tables. Vault toilets are provided. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Firewood is available for purchase from the host at Hope Campground.

Timpooneke campground
Timpooneke Campground is located along the beautiful Alpine Loop Scenic Byway high in the Wasatch Mountains. The Mount Timpanogos Wilderness Area is adjacent. Visitors enjoy hiking the Timpooneke Trail to the summit of Mount Timpanogos. The campground contains one group site, nine equestrian sites, and several family sites. Campsites are equipped with picnic tables, utility tables, and campfire rings. Equestrian sites each have a small horse corral. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Campground roads are paved; parking spurs are gravel. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Trash service is now available and included with the site.
