Located in northeastern Utah and Wyoming, Mt.View- Evanston District is known as the “North Slope”. This region is just the way nature intended it to be. It includes thousands of undeveloped acres which has become a haven for hardy outdoor enthusiasts coming to enjoy the rustic nature, remote trails, undeveloped campsites.

Bear River campground

Bear River Campground is a small campground with 4 single campsites, each with picnic tables and fire rings. This campground offers vault restroom facilities. The campground is nestled along the Bear River and provides access for fishing. Other recreation opportunities are located nearby. A recreation pass is required for this area.

Beaver View campground

Beaver View Campground offers 17 single campsites and 1 group day-use site. Vault toilets are provided. Recreation opportunities are nearby for fishing, hiking, backpacking, and ATV trail riding.

Bridger Lake campground

Bridger Lake Campground contains several single and two double campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Two accessible sites are available, both with cement parking spurs and site pads. All other sites have gravel surfaces. Some sites have partial lake views. Drinking water, vault toilets, and trash collection are provided at the campground. A dump station is located about half a mile away, across the road from Stateline.

Butterfly campground

Butterfly Campground is a beautiful high-elevation campground with 20 single campsites. Vault restrooms are available at this facility. This campground offers access to an alpine lake with fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. Other recreation opportunities are nearby and include hiking, backpacking, equestrian trails, and ATV trail riding.

China Meadows campground

China Meadows is a small campground near the trailhead. The campground is timbered and near China Lake. China Meadows has 9 single campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. There is a vault toilet for restroom facilities.

China Meadows Trailhead Campground

China Meadows Trailhead Campground is an access point to the High Uinta Wilderness. The site offers 17 single campsites, picnic tables, fire rings, and vault restroom facilities. Horse corrals, tie rails, and mounting stations are available. The area is timbered. There is plenty of parking for the trailhead and campsites.

Christmas Meadows campground

Christmas Meadows Campground is located just a few miles off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, 36 miles from Evanston, Wyoming. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty. The campground contains 11 single-family sites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets, drinking water, and trash collection are provided. Roads and parking spurs are dirt.

Deadhorse TRAILHEAD Campground

Deadhorse Trail Head Campground is a central place to camp while enjoying the ATV trails. The trailhead has 4 single campsites each with a picnic table and fire ring. A vault restroom is available. Recreation opportunities are available nearby for hiking, fishing, and ATV trail riding.

East Fork Bear River campground

East Fork Bear River Campground is nestled right along the Bear River and offers 7 single campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. This campground offers vault restroom facilities. The campground has river access for fishing and is near many trails for both hiking and ATV riding. A recreation pass is required for this area.

Hayden Fork campground

Hayden Fork Campground offers 9 single campsites each with picnic tables and fire rings. This campground offers vault restroom facilities. The campground is near the Hayden Fork River and offers a quiet campground experience with access to many recreation opportunities nearby.

Hoop Lake campground

Hoop Lake Campground is a remote campground with 44 single campsites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilet facilities are available. The campground is timbered and has great views of the lake with access to fishing and boating.

Hoop Lake TrailHead campground

Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground offers lake access and access to the High Uinta Wilderness. The campground has 5 single campsites each with picnic tables and fire rings. A vault toilet is on-site for restroom facilities.

Little Lyman Lake campground

Little Lyman Lake Campground is a primitive campground with 10 single campsites, each with picnic tables and fire rings provided. Vault restrooms are available at this facility. This campground offers access to hiking, fishing, backpacking, ATV, and Equestrian Trails nearby.

Marsh Lake campground

Marsh Lake Campground is located next to its namesake on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 9,400 feet. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing, and exploring local trails. The campground contains several single and double campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, utility table, and campfire ring. Some sites have lake views. Vault toilet restroom facilities are provided. A dump station is located about a mile and a half away across the road from Stateline.

Meeks Cabin campground

Meeks Cabin Campground is on the banks of Meeks Cabin Reservoir. The campground is shaded and offers 24 single campsites each with a picnic table, and fire ring. Vault toilet restrooms are available. The campground has lake access, however, the boat ramp is closed to the dam.

Stateline campground

Stateline Campground offers 41 single campsites, each with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault restrooms are available. This timbered campground is popular for local fishing and is close to the lake with a boat ramp. Other recreational opportunities are available.

Long-Term sites are NOW available. Come enjoy a unique customer experience that is only found at a very small number of campgrounds nationwide. Long Term sites 1,2,3 available for reservations.

Stillwater campground

Stillwater Campground is located 32 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway at an elevation of 8,500 feet. The confluence of the Stillwater Fork and Hayden Fork is just outside the campground, providing great fishing opportunities. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty. The campground contains four group sites, three of which accommodate up to 50 people each; the fourth accommodates up to 25 people. These sites are equipped with large picnic tables, campfire circles, and parking areas. Single-family sites are also available with picnic tables and campfire rings. A day-use picnic area is located at the end of the campground road. Vault toilets and trash collection are provided. Roads and parking spurs are dirt.

Sulphur campground

Sulphur Campground is located 39 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway at the confluence of Stillwater Fork and Hayden River. Numerous hiking, biking, horse, and ATV trails crisscross this beautiful region. The facility has 15 single-family sites and 6 double-family sites that come equipped with picnic tables and fire rings with grills. One group site is available, which accommodates up to 25 people. This site has 3 large picnic tables, a large fire ring with benches, and parking areas. Vault toilets and garbage service are provided. Water is available, but may be limited. A campground host is located on-site. Roads and parking spurs are dirt.

Wolverine ATV campground

Wolverine ATV Trailhead Campground offers 6 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault restroom. This campground has quick access to a number of ATV trails and adventures. The area does require a recreation pass.
